A new campus project for 2020


A new campus symbolizes a student-centered ambition

With the support of the G & G Pélisson Foundation, a major project to extend and modernize the facilities of the Institut Paul Bocuse has been launched to raise it to the level of international educational and environmental standards. The goal is to offer students the architecture of a campus to live in and to work differently in a unique application environment. On this occasion, the G & G Pélisson Foundation is launching a public and private sector fundraising campaign.

The objective is to finance an investment of €25 M. €10 million was raised with the support of the local authorities, the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region, the Lyon Metropolis and an exceptional donation by Gérard Pélisson, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institut Paul Bocuse and Founder of the G & G Pélisson Foundation for the Institut Paul Bocuse.

Resolutely focused on excellence, the revelation of talents, innovation and employability, this new Campus project for 2020 will enable capacity to be doubled on a campus offering over 16,000 m² of modern facilities equipped with the latest technologies, by creating 3 distinct hubs:
• A hub dedicated to hospitality and food services with 5000 m2 of state-of-the-art educational facilities and equipment.
• A hub dedicated to the culinary arts with 17 kitchen-pastry-bakery laboratories.
• A hub dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship with the opening of a new application and research environment dedicated to events and the creation of hospitality and catering concepts.
