SIRHA 2019: the Institut Paul Bocuse and the Fondation G&G Pélisson attending in full force

The unique collaboration of the Institut Paul Bocuse with SIRHA, the international food service and hospitality trade show, gives students a unique experience and allows them to discuss the industry's latest innovations with professionals from all over the world. More than 500 students from the Institut Paul Bocuse will be attending SIRHA 2019, the world’s biggest meet-up for food service and hospitality, which will be held in Lyon from January 26-30.

A unique experimental venue for the students who will be playing an active role in this 2019 edition:
Contests, the pop-up restaurant 6ème Sens, serving at the great chefs’ dinner, serving at the Bocuse d’Or gala dinner, VIP welcome treatment, etc.

- Contests:
  • Bocuse d’Or contest: A student with a scholarship from the Fondation G&G Pélisson, Panuvit Khaokaew, will be a member of the Bocuse d’Or Thailand team.
  • Pastry World Cup: The students will be a candidate's kitchen assistants or serve dishes.
  • Finale of the Trophée du Maître d’Hôtel, during which Xavier Gonet will represent the Institut Paul Bocuse.

- 6ème Sens, the pop-up restaurant: In collaboration with SIRHA and the architect Franck Boguenet, the students of the Institut Paul Bocuse came up with three pop-up restaurants that offer event attendees a deep dive into the latest trends in food service.
The design, menu, and ambiance of each of these restaurants have been conceived to evoke a totally unique sense of place and promise a one-of-a-kind experience. As a source of inspiration, 6ème Sens also offers innovations in table settings and dining room style. A gourmet experience inspired by new trends in serving guests.

All tips will go to the Fondation G&G Pélisson for the project to build a new campus for the Institut Paul Bocuse.

- Serving at the Great Chefs Dinner at the Abbaye de Collonges, Tuesday, January 29.

- Serving at the Bocuse d’Or Gala Dinner at the Sucrière, Wednesday, January 30.

- The VIP treatment for SIRHA visitors, with airport pick-up and assistance for VIP guests throughout their stay
